When the White House announced it was ready to recognize Communist Cuba, a right-wing Cuban terrorist group swore to kill the President. Butler was assigned to prevent the assassination. His only chance to find out where and when the triggerman would strike was to infiltrate the group and pose as an assassin himself. Butler did not realize, however, how smart the killers were. Their guns were aimed not only at the President, but also at Butler himself!
